In Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, Mr Foo has a specialist interest in Breast Reconstruction.
This is offered in patients with breast asymmetry, tuberous breasts, breast hyploplasia and Poland's syndrome. Reconstruction is also carried out in patients following treatment of breast cancer which includes reconstruction following mastectomy, adjustment of the contra-lateral breast and nipple areolar reconstruction.
Skin cancer treatment also forms a large part of Mr Foo's reconstructive practice where treatment can range from simple excision to more complex reconstructions like skin graft and flap repair.
Most reconstructive procedures are available on the NHS with variations according to local PCT guidelines on NHS commissioning. This type of treatment is also carried out by Mr Foo at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where Mr Foo holds a Consultant appointment.
